My passion for tech started in 1999. Since then, I've guided dozens of founders through scaling or selling their companies. As a Partner at BDO Deal Advisory, I'm responsible for all tech-related transactions — working daily with founders, investors and strategic buyers.

To support that mission, I founded Kuoppa — Finnish for 'Kuil' — a nod to my surname and a reference to the depth required in complex M&A trajectories. I help founders sharpen their strategic goals, avoid pitfalls, and navigate the process with confidence. Whether it's an international sale, a minority investment, or a merger: my role is to provide direction, bring calm to the process, and create real value.

A few principles I don't compromise on.

I work exclusively in tech — software, digital, IT. No manufacturing, no retail, no real estate. That means I know your buyers, your multiples, and your market better than any generalist ever could.

A strong process begins not with spreadsheets, but with understanding what drives you, where the strength of your company lies, and what you want your future to look like. That clarity shapes everything.

Competition creates value.

A single buyer conversation rarely leads to the best outcome. I build a competitive playing field with multiple credible parties — that's what drives better terms, higher valuations, and real choice.

You keep building, I manage the process.

A sale process takes months. Your company still needs to grow. My job is to take the weight of the process off your shoulders so you can keep performing — which is what buyers are ultimately paying for.
